Partner/Executive V.P., Strategic Planning

Clients looking to define and answer their marketing challenges – getting the right message to the right audience in the right manner – look to Stan for strategic and creative counsel.

Stan has been providing insightful analysis and creative concepts to meet a wide variety of client needs for more than 25 years. At R/P, he continues to develop strategic marketing plans, write copy for all media and produce TV and radio spots that get results.

Stan was an integral part of the team that repositioned Heartland Information Services in the medical transcription industry. Stan helped refocus the client’s message to emphasize financial benefits instead of technology, and target CFOs rather than Medical Record Directors as the primary audience. As a result, Heartland has multiplied its business volume and become recognized as one of the nation’s top transcription providers.

Stan also was the lead writer among a team responsible for developing a new corporate-wide diversity campaign for Borders Books & Music.  Stan’s creativity came through with a fresh, memorable analogy using distinctive beads to symbolize the differences among people.

Many other clients have benefited from Stan’s talents. He has a depth of experience in marketing public relations for health care, with work that spans more than ten different hospitals, HCR ManorCareHospice of Northwest Ohio and a variety of physician groups and clinics.

He also has built a solid portfolio of building products advertising and PR. Stan has vast experience in marketing windows, roofing, vinyl siding, waterproofing, insulation and much more. His clients have included national brands such as Merillat and Owens Corning. In fact, most of the Pink Panther TV spots in the 1990s were either written or produced by Stan – including one that aired during the Super Bowl.

Stan’s work has been honored with more than 50 ADDY Awards, the ANDY Awards (New York Art Directors’ Club) and the OBIE Awards (for outstanding outdoor advertising).  In 2002, he received the Silver Medal Award from the American Advertising Federation for a career of contributions to the advertising profession and to his community.
